To be fair, with the money he's getting I think anybody would take that contract, same with Peppers deal in Chicago.

Sure he's getting well paid, I reckon he would get similar money anywhere he landed, but well done to the Bills. They are starting to assemble a decent roster there. I sympathise a lot with their support (they've been poop for years like us) and think this is a really positive move. Ever thought Mario wants to be an integral part of a team getting built? Good luck to them.

Biggest of free agency so far is the Redskins. A huge offer for a WR with poor hands and now picking up Meriweather. Hoping those future 1sts are nice high ones

It seems the NFC south may well be the strongest division in football next season. Tampa have strengthened significantly on offense, although still weak defensively which they will address in the draft. The Saints will still be strong. I can see the Falcons having a drop off kinda year. Cam Newton will be older and wiser and the defence should be strengthened with a d-linemen in the draft.

If you discount the NFC North & East and the AFC East then yes it has a chance to be the strongest division in football.

AFC West might actually be good for a change too if Denver get Manning - the Chiefs have added well and the Chargers have added a couple of pieces too.

Strongest divisions in football last season were comfortably the North divisions, both AFC and NFC. HTH.

They were, but the Steelers aren't going to amount to much this year and the Bengals (as per) look to be going backwards and are letting all the free agents go (Rucker and Fannene already gone, Nelson talking to the Jets).

The NFC North should be the best division in the league next season, Cutler has his favourite target in Marshall (plus Forte will be back), the Lions have finally added to the secondary and the Packers are a known commodity.

The Bears had an interest in Williams but couldn't match what the Bills gave him.At least the long suffering Bills fans have something to get exited about,maybe this is the start of the Bills becoming a force again as a small market team needs a 'name' to sign for them in their prime to show other players they are looking to improve.
