And as far as the Saints go. Theres nothing wrong with being aggressive but when you are actively rewarding your players to go out and try end some ones career (money for knockouts ect.) then it's not on. Some may think it's OTT but this is the Goodell era. The guys all about getting rid of the dirt out of the NFL and although some times I think he is a bit overprotective, this time i'm with him.

The thing about the money for knockouts is they aren't all that huge payouts. For a player on millions of dollars a season is a $1500 bonus for knocking someone out of a game really going to make that much of a difference? Like I say this whole thing is morally abhorrent but the punishments are too harsh IMO. Payton to miss a year is huge. Williams was expected when I think about it.

I don't care if they were knocking people out for a packet of peanuts, it's still disgusting behaviour and should not be tolerated. IMO the punishment fits the crime. If similar or worse offences in the past were given lighter punishments then maybe this is a reflection that they clearly weren't harsh enough to act as a deterrent.

There's 22 to 27 players involved that could get similar punishments as Payton and Williams before this has all played out.Any player found guilty of taking part in this should get at least the same ban as Payton.

Aye heard about this earlier, sounds like the Broncos want money ($5million) that they have already payed Tebow to be payed back by the Jesters, the Jesters GM forgot to read Tebows contract properly so didn't know

They can't even make a trade without looking daft

Jacksonville back in play for Tebow. I'd imagine they would be his choice of destination.
