Raising the stakes and providing players with extra motivation can be done by offering them higher bonuses for wins or personal achievements.

Offering bonuses for injuring fellow professionals is bang out of order though, and the Saints deserve all they get for it.

Not seen Peyton's playoff attempts?

Under .500 and literally thrown the game away a number of times.

If only he had the same bottle as his brother.

I'm actually surprised he went to Denver though, Peyton is under .500 in the colder stadiums in the league, Mile High is one of the coldest.

Although Patriots/Broncos opening SNF game is on the cards now because of it.

Opening weekend games will draw a good TV figure no matter who's playing. Expect Denver vs Oakland/San Diego on Week 1 MNF imo.

Then watch Richard Seymour destroy Peyton's knee on TV and wreck their season.

Curtis lofton to the Saints. The guy is a tackling machine. Still quiet for us on the free agency front. I'm hoping we're looking at Hightower in the draft, but doubt he's there at 32. But you never know.

Good signing for them would have liked him for us. Rumours are they will need him because Vilma will be sat on the sidelines for a while due to 'bountygate' and that's if they don't release him first...

Ochodropo has restuctured his contract meaning his base salary this year will be $1million rather than $3million, fair play to him but TBH after last years performance he is still being overpayed, I would cut him personally but trust BB and hope he will show us what he is capable of. If nothing else it's another WR to compete for a spot in training camp, can't really do any harm.

Would not be shocked if we released him on the eve of the new season and he goes to another team and has a great year.

Rams sign Steve Smith from Philadelphia. A team notorious for receivers going down injured every season signs a walking injury waiting to happen

That's not a nice thing to say about a player at all wanting to watch Peyton's knee get destroyed.
