Hopkins has always been known for his ability to spoil, but I've always thought his offence has been very under rated for a while, his foot work, hand speed and accuracy are top class, infact its unbelievable when you think he's 43! The fast last night was one of the most one sided I've seen in a while, Hopkins gave Pavlik a boxing lesson.
Pavlik just looked like he didn't want to be there he looked slow and uninterested, the fight definatly proved that he isn't ready to face someone of Hopinks' class at super-middleweight. An it will probably prove to be a blessing because if he fought Calzaghe he'd get another lesson IMO.
Couldn't have called that one more wrong if I'd tried, got my fingers badly burned aswell!
Can't take anything away from Hopkins though, It#s the best I've seen him for a while and it was almost as though he had a point to prove.
Pavlik, I'm not sure whether it was just a bad day at the office, just being outclassed, or struggling at that weight? Out of the 3 I'd go for the weight more than anything else, but will be interested to see where he goes from here.

In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
"I tried to fight him like I was sparring with him, because he don't know how to box. First fight, second fight, third fight, he don't know how to box . . . just walk up going bang, bang, bang.

I got a feeling Roy will win too. Hope not though.
It depends which Joe turns up. He looked startled in Vegas and it took him a while, namely a trip to the canvas, to shock him into work. The way he’s been talking up New York City and MSG is a worry; hopefully, he won’t be starstruck.
That said, I’m not sold on RJJ’s supposed return to form. Granted, he’s won his last three fights. But check the opposition. Two of whom hadn’t fought at a decent Championship level. Felix Trinidad was punching way above his weight and wouldn’t have hurt Jones Jr. with a sledgehammer and a free hit. RJJ looked lazy in that fight to me, although it was easy to construe the performance as methodical. He still has rapier fists, but I don’t think he’s had the longevity of Bernard Hopkins. To be fair, hardly any do.
If the Calzaghe that fought Kessler and Lacy turns up, I go with Joe on points.
