Pretty ironic as well given the Raiders will be starting Carson Palmer on one leg this coming season. That trade just looks funnier and funnier the more I think about it

It's nothing against Peyton personally, but as the QB of the team I dislike most, I would much rather he was injured and they had to limp along with Caleb Hanie at the reins, and setting them back a good few seasons while they try to salvage something after putting all their eggs in 1 basket. (See Oakland 2003)

And I've never wanted Palmer at the Raiders, we gave up far too much for him, would have much preferred to keep Campbell and just struggle for 1 season with a Boller/Pryor tandem. We'd have been much better off cap wise, and could have got a quality LB in round 1 this year to replace Wimbley. As it is, we're going to have to just see what's there in round 3.

Loving the Campbell for Goodson trade, Bruce clearly didn't fit the zone blocking scheme and we get a good backup for DMac.

Jones spent most of last season injured, Goodson is more of a dependable 3rd down back whereas Jones is the fast guy you bring in to make a big play.

Also quite pleased at the Colts linebacker we just signed, McKenzie is turning us around slowly after years of being run by a mad man who signed who he wanted and fired the coach every year. Bit like Leneghan at Wigan taking over from Uncle Mo.

New Nike NFL uni's are unveiled today, can't see many changes being made other than they will be tighter fitting and the sponsor patch obviously.

Apparently the Seahawks are the only team making major changes, hope they don't use the lime green colour they had on their alternate shirt
