As advert for a PL it'd be much more attractive seeing a massive 52,000 seater stadium full then somewhere like the JJB struggling to get 17,000....always have good banter with the geordies as well. A team like Newcastle as well will be able (well you wouldn't have thought it this season (haha) to tempt big players from europe or even tempt big players back ala Owen, which can only be good for the PL).

Don't get me wrong if they finish in the bottom three they deserve to be relegated I'm not questioning that, just as far as the PL goes, it'd be a shame if they were relegated.

It will be hilarious if they go down.

I cant ever remember anyone i know referring to Keegan or Shearer as a messiah. It is a name the media have given and then idiots have blown it all out of proportion.

2) Have expectations of challenging for the title/Europe every year.
3) Talk about a divine right to be in the Premier League
4) Refer to Keegan, Shearer or any other manager as "the messiah".

Apart from maybe the lowlifes hanging around Shearers waiting for the Sky Sports camera.
