Wiggins takes the victory. Extends lead over Evans by 1.43. Evans second. Froome now in 3rd.

Wow. Never mind Cuddles, to take a minute out of Cancellara in 41km of time trial is a feee-nom-eee-nal effort. If only Froome could have found another seven seconds...

Anyone backing against Brad and Froome for the 'lympic TT?

Well that has changed things abut hasn't it. Cuddles beaten even more comprehensively than expected and nibs relegated off the podium by froome. Who has just done the TT of his life.

I can't wait for the alps . This is gonna be attacktastic lol.

not only are wiggins rivals going to have to find around 2 minutes to get the lead, there is another longer tt coming up in week 3. so they are going to have to look for a substantial cushion as well, at least another 2 minutes

You can almost see some of Wiggins rivals disappearing off the side of the road on the mountain descents trying to claw back some time.

Can see a Evans-Nib's pact forming to attack Team Sky.

Yes, but you can also see Sky allying with a team like Garmin who, after a dreadful first week, will be out for stage wins to try and get something out of the race.
Either way, you'd rather be Sky than anyone else right now.
