I'm not detracting from Hull's performance, I'm just answering the question why you don't play like that every week.

You wouldn't have been lauding your workrate if Ballack or Anelka had buried their chances. Hull could have put in exactly the same amount of work as they did tonight, got nothing to show for it, and you wouldn't have given a damn about the work.

Boat said in his interview they had asked whether it was direct or indirect, and Clattenburg had said indirect. His words, not mine. It's immaterial, like i already said.

Strange if he did tell him that it was an indirect free kick, but having seen Hunt get a free kick for getting owned in a shoulder barge he instigated not entirely surprising! Hunt was excellent tonight BTW, my MotM. Which is annoying, seeing as he is an utter ****.

TBH it wouldn't matter to me if he only had one leg, he should have been able to sign for Citeh. If Citeh and Inter were willing to pay £7m for him now, and judging from the delight that Inter have expressed at his signing, he could be a £30m+ player in a few years. And the only reason he didn't sign for Citeh was a work permit refusal. The clubs should get together and threaten legal action to scrap this stupid system.
