Ive played less since I got to uni, believe it or not. Though did beat my mates when I got back after xmas. If I'm playing with 6/7 mates I can usually average a final 3 spot. Not that great but aiming to improve when I get back and theres no restricted access to gambling sites in a rented house.

Neil Channing is a very knowledgable guy and a good player but i wish he would stay out of the commentary box, i find him really irritating. My preferred option is Padraig Parkinson who didn't waste alot of time going broke in his European Open heat this week!

Just been watching a cash game and you can really see the difference in the 2 formats. Tournament play relies quite heavily on luck whereas cash games require far more skill and bottle IMO.

Cant be as bad as devilfish great player but in commentary all he can do is slag other players off,

Been playing online for about 5 years and banked 8k,
What tourneys do you guys play, i love double up games so easy to finish in the top 5/ 3, tend to play 3 games at once then not waiting around as much.

i do find though if you stick at it class will come through they can only get lucky so many times in one night, if they are a fish then they will lose in time.

You would think so but I've just had yet another total crap bad beat.

Guy went all-in with Ace King, I called with Aces. He hit a King on the turn and a King on the river!! Sick!

Unbelievable!! Just as i was writing this I had another game running, both of us all-in again I had pocket kings he had pocket 8's and he hit an 8 on the river! FFS!

Further Edit - flop comes down Queen, 10, 7 I have two pair (queens and 10s) I move all in I get called by pocket kings and guess what....he hits the king on the river!!! The programming on poker stars is beyond poop!!!

Humberto Brenes has got to be the best characther in poker he is 1 funny guy isnt too good of a player like but funny too wacth. Use to thiunk Phil Helmuth was a p**ck but hes very godo at commentating

My biggest gripe is when you go round to a game of live poker with mates, and fair enough it might onlu be a tenner in etc, but what annoys me is when you get the majority of the table giving the old 'no we are not putting the blinds up yet'

What!!!! We've been playing for 2 hours!!!!

I hate to be be the one to take a gloss over tunes, beer and good times, but i hate it when people dont want the blinds raising at regular intervals

The raising of the blinds at a regulated times is JUST as important as the order in which hands win pots.

There, glad i got that off my chest.
