Squabbling over the odd million is irrelevant. Facts are (Rafa loves facts) he was a collossal waste of money. Whether he breached the magic 20m barrier or not, he was bought for a lot of money, and sold only a few months down the line for a lot less money.
A lot of teams beat us, do a lap of honour and don't stop running. They live too long on one good result. I remember Jimmy Adamson crowing after Burnley had beaten us once and that his players were in a different league. At the end of the season they were.

Let's all move on shall we?
I wouldn't call £3m + the potential to get it all back a lot less, less yes, but not the £8m the thickos still quote.
Not sure, I've read that he will leave to take up a position in the F.A, and I've also read that he'll stay, but handle the commercial side of things.
Who knows? Only time will tell, I guess, I'm not fully certain of what Parry's role is, but from the things I've read on him, his reign at the club has been a failure.
I think the accepted wisdom is that Parry and Benitez don't get on or, at least, Benitez doesn't like the level of influence Parry has over transfers and that this has been one of the sticking points in his deal.
I'm sure that Parry is a fine chief exec but it's no choice, surely, between him and Rafa.

You've not been here much have you - actual discussion of real football has no place on this thread. This is for d*ck measuring contests between Manchester United/FCUM fans and Liverpool fans, with the occasional Evertonian and Man City fan chipping in.

Ahh, "real" football. Is that what the "real" fans watch?
