I'd have picked Bobby Zamora before him. He doesn't play half the time for Spurs, and he's hardly been the linchpin for their recent revival.

As bad as Bent can be, he is/was a decent finisher, he's got an OK record in the prem, but he's not really a top player. He's the type of player that belongs at a club like Sunderland, 'Boro or Everton.
