A bonus 3 points really. Apart from the goal we didnt look much different from last year in the first half. Still kept giving the ball away and the defenders played like strangers. Tightened up in the second half when Barry took control.

Definitely 3 points we would have lost last year. Not a Top 4 performance by any means, but clearly a team with plenty of improvement to come.

In all seriousness though, by heck we missed Arteta....thats where Arsenal dominated, utterly destroyed our midfield, but still, 4 goals came from free kicks and counter attacks, of which they do better than anyone.

Seriously, though, Moyes needs to stick Fellaini in the middle, get Cahill in the hole and sort it out. They were slow out the traps last year but if Moyes sells Lescott, he has to spend the majority of it if Everton want to challenge for the mantle of the best of the rest.
