Bootle off to a flyer yesterday, 3-0 away at Wigan Robin Park. Wasn't a bad venue and not a far trip either. McDonald made big impact on his debut baggin 2 & life without Andy Fowler begins well.

Lost 1-0 to Stafford

Played the better football and made more chances. Their goal came from a break as we hit the post with an open header.

To be honest, we could probably still be on the field now and not be able to score.

Fleetwood away at some randoms, called Farsley or something. Should get our first win of the season, after our game on saturday was called off. Can see us going unbeaten in our maiden season in the blue square north, such is the calibre of our players.

Another round of fixtures tonight then, Bootle at home to Daisy Hill. Should really win this one at home another 3 points before going in the extra prelim round of FA Cup.

Unibond Premier gets underway on Saturday, FC United at home to Matlock Town being this week's pick of the games. Be interesting to see how we do after a grim pre-season.
