He's quick to the bend but his trapping is not as fast as some, If he was to get out first and cut in to cause chaos behind maybe but Tr 1 is favourite and probably rightly so but it is all down to the break and Jasper rode a bump in the first round and went down fighting and was not quickest out of the traps in the semi but still got the fastest time of the night so hopefully he's street wise for a puppy and will find a way to win on Tuesday.
If there is carnage perhaps Tr 4 is not so bad as if they all dive for the rail Tr 1 could be left with knowhere to go and his chances may be gone.
Trap 6 has the peach of the draw but even he was trialed from Trap 4 before the event so is perhaps a border line middle runner rather than an out and out wide seed. |

| Very interesting jockey bookings in the 6:05 at Punchestown - Emmet Mullins rides his uncles horse Sonnium (16/1 with PP) rather than his regular mount Mustangsallyrally (as short as 8's with Ladbrokes, but 16 at Hills and Sportingbet). Incidentally Mustangsallyrally is down to run tommorow too, with you guessed it - Emmet Mullins on board.
Backed them both as both likely to go well on the ground and will stay the trip - stamina of the essence given prevailing underfoot conditions.
Anyone who's a fan of unqiue races should watch the 4:55 - 4m 2f La Touche Cup over the banks course  |

Can see the logic in that, Celtic seem to compete for 60 mins or so but just lack that edge to get wins from close games. |

Indeed makes me glad I went for a 175/1 shot as it kept stakes low...if I'd gone for a Mickleson, Ogilvy, Garcia etc against Tiger loses would be much more.
100/30 the tiger looks value after all and I think we will be seeing very skinny quotes for The US and our Open if he walks away with the title this week. |

Having gone to the Crucible today and seen the first session of the first semi, Allen really does have to improve, or Higgins will blitz into the final.
