In a dilema, in a drunken (slightly worrying) state last night, I logged into my Stan James account, I put a £60 accumulator (what I had left in my account) on some pretty obscure games... this is what it currently stands at;

I've spent all day watching some quite boring football...although the Japan/Qatar game was alright and Nicaragua scored a beauty from 35 yards out...

Anyway, the last game kicks off in half an hour do I cut my losses and bail out? the odds on Honduras/ El Salvador double chance of Draw-El Salvador are 11/10 £400 on that would leave me a guaranteed £380 up..... but being £1400 up would be even nicer...

Well that has to be the most boringest days of football I've had.....still had worse days, to top it off, when it got to 89 minutes and it was still 1-0 Honduras I put £100 on over 1.5 goals at 11/2 just in case El Salvador equalise....they didn't, but Honduras got a second... Looks like I'm having a this holiday this year after all..

as for the notus de la tour, i followed this horse very closely last year, bet big at chelt when he finished 2nd.
then again at aintree but flopped there

very talented horse, think he goes well fresh so should be there today, very short now though at 10/3 !

Won a few quid laying last night so gonna see how much I can turn 15 quid into backing and laying today. First was Grandouet - won like a favourite.

We also learned today that taking these French recruits on first time out is the way to go. Plenty Pocket was short enough in the market as 2nd favourite but ran far too freely.

Rolling my cash on to Master Minded now. Barring any unforeseen errors, I can't see Petit Robin reversing the form. MM goes better right handed whereas, for Petit Robin, Nicky Henderson reckons his horse is better the other way.

The ground won't inconvenience Mad Max and he could stay on for a place if any of the others go off too fast.

Somersby is no doubting a terrific horse but the form of the stable is worrying.

Kalahari King could be a danger, if at his best he definitely has place prospects.
