Clubs would be for it if it was in their interests. They'd be against it if it was against their interests.
For me, if there's was going to be a salary cap in football then it should be a way of getting all 20 Premier League teams so they start off with the same resources. The teams at the bottom end of the league would be for that, teams at the top would walk away from the league before they agreed to that.
What would probably happen is that the salary cap would be brought in that stops us and Citeh from spending too much, but the Man Utd's and Arsenal's get to keep their advantages. That's pretty much the sole reason that FFP has been brought in. You can't really have financial fair play in the domestic leagues when the CL so distorts the revenues that the biggest clubs get.
