Confirmed. I doubt Newcastle would be doing April's fools joke given their predicament. Stupid date to announce it though.

But his appointment and the wave it will create will be enough to win them a couple of home games.

Oh jeez im not sure what to make of this to be honest.

He's in a no lose situation i guess, lots of people expect us to get relegated, if we do, then nothing changed, if we stay up, then everyone will be happy.

I just think it's not the right time for him.

Saying that, i would rather have him as the manager. Someone who knows Newcastle, knows the club, loves the club, rather than people like Hughton, Kinnear, Calderwood, etc...
