I'd have gone for Lampard personally. He's a role model and profesional on and off the pitch, therefore would have been my choice.

Terry is an ar$e of the highest order and deserves the flack. England players are role models to the country's youth and should be made to act as such. Terry in my opinion shouldn't play for England again.

Get those toys back in the pram. Certain parts of the media have gone out of their way? They reported on a story that is absolute dynamite. The sheer arrogance of Terry to think he could get a gagging order out on them to save his booty and his captaincy is astonishing. Did the media tell Terry to roger his mates Mrs? Or was he been a naughty boy who deserved to be pulled up for cheating on his wife?

Not sure Rio is the right choice but the position was untenable for Terry.
