I seen the ankle breaker Kemba put on somebody in the big east finals...WOW! My bracket is totally shagged.
Maybe it's just me, but I struggle to understand American drafts. For example, for the most part of the year, I've been reading that Perry Jones is touted as a possible #1 pick in the 2011 draft, yet when I watched him, he was pretty poor. Another player I've watched a couple of times is Terrence Jones, who some rate highly and some rate quite poorly. I personally felt he was a decent player with a big frame, so couldn't understand the divide in opinion. I also can't understand the ranking of teams and what makes a team so good. I see teams that have potential NBA picks in their team, like Kentucky with Jones and Knight, yet they are seeded poorly; why?
I've never properly watched NCAA basketball or whatever, so maybe I'm slow to catch on and understand things, and when I finally try and watch it, I see a shed load of fuss made over Jimmer Fredette, who, from what I've read, is one of the best scorers in college, yet will be a limited, average player in the NBA. Am I missing something? Is it not all about numbers at college? Argh, I'm getting annoyed just trying to explain myself, it's bloody odd and I can't fathom it, and the NBA draft is probably the most simple draft!
