So we're 2lbs better off. A 5lb claimer instead of a 3lb claimer. I realise that the regular jockey might have a better relationship with the horse but I guess the less weight we have on a front-runner, the more chance we might have of getting home.

Looks like (even with a couple of ex-Dons players at Barrow) it'll have to be Widnes -6 for me today. Rooney not eligable for Barrow and Widnes look to be peaking at the right time.

I love it analysis like they are the first two in the betting in a top York handicap

Significantly Desert Soul is trading on Betfair below the bookies prices....Abbey express is available at 200/1 (ok all for pennies so far but worth keeping an eye on).

No, they are two very average animals, just looking to make any sort of case for Abbey Express where there probably is none.

Abbey Express back out to 66/1 but the stablemate (Desert Soul) 22/1 from 40/1 via 33/1 and 25/1.

As with each race Abbey Express has run in this year, the fancied horses again to the fore. It didn't even lead this time.
