Well, AC Milan are already out, but if we finish the job next week, we shouldn't be too scared of anyone left in the competition.
Indeed. We look good in Europe. Probably because European teams let us play football, and because we can play on the break - always useful away from home in Europe. If De Jong and Bonjovi were eligible for the rest of the tournament, I would be much more confident.
RE Aalborg: I think it will be tough next week but I do fancy us to score, thus Aalborg wil need to score 4. We did well last night considering we were missing De Jong and Bojinov (both not registered), while Kompany, Petrov, Bellamy and Sturridge are injured.
Some of the stuff produced by Ireland and Robinho last was phenomenal. Ireland has gone from annoying and inconsistent, to one of the best midfielders in the PL this season. Highlight of the football season for me.
It disappoints me that people get excited by one-trick ponies like Ashley Young but won't even mention the likes of Ireland. The lad has a great engine, very good tackler, has vision, a great touch, good passer and is scoring goals. He also performs well in games against the better teams - arguably MOM at Old Trafford last season. The press though get all excited by Young after he dribbles past the happless Stoke full-back and nutmegs Scott Carson.
