Exactly, it was a clear red, but the man needed stopping! I wouldn't have been disappointed if Rio did that on Sunday when Bellamy raced away.

I remember Solksjaer saving a certain goal against Newcastle at Old Trafford. Rob Lee was clear and Ole chased back and cut him down. He was rightly sent off, and got a standing ovation. He sacrificed himself for the team.

Not at a match but watching a Liverpool game on TV in the 80s, I mentioned to a mate that Beardsley was crap and had done nothing. Beardo then set up two goals and scored a beauty that they showed in the opening titles of Match of the Day for the whole of the next season.
