Looking at Moyes' interview tonight on SSN, you couldn't help but feel you was watching a man who knew his time was up at Everton.

Almost defeatist in his acknowlegment that he was no longer able to compete with the sides he strives to be up with in the table, I felt a little sorry for him, revealing his only purchase was a 19 year old Greek unknown for 200 grand.

I really hope his next job is a decent one, he deserves it.....How he must wonder how a chancer like Redknapp continually finds himself in jobs where money seems to be no object.

Yup. I thought he looked destined for the United job, but his struggles with Everton this season make it unlikely he'll even be considered unless Ferguson has a say in it.

I keep hoping for that Anders Limpar moment. I remember being lay on the couch when his signing popped up late at night. Doesn't happen anymore unfortunately. No sightings of Aimar or Riquelme at John Lennon Airport this year. Just seems like the whole club is resigned to it's inability to compete and is perfectly happy to finish fourth from bottom this season.

Oyston has been on Talksport saying that Liverpool fell well short of there valuation the went onto say it was well short of £10m

9.40pm: @LFCGlobe on Twitter report that Liverpool have switched attention to Ashley Young, and are currently £3m away from meeting Aston Villa's asking price. I've no idea how reliable they are.
