Great to see him get his head back in front again. Waited until it looked settled, then jumped on at evens as support (for some reason) started to shorten Punchestowns back down.



Punchestowns back over hurdles? Didn't stay at all. Didn't think his jumping was fluent overall though.

Restless Harry is general 33/1 for the World Hurdle but touches 44/1 with 32red.

Having a bet on Big Zeb with the money I won yesterday. 4/6. Can't see old enemy Golden Silver reversing the form. For a horse that used to jump very sketchily, that is no more for Big Zeb. Since he was well beaten in the Tingle Creek he has jumped excellently in every race since and that is now probably his biggest asset. Should be a lot fitter now than last time and looks as though he should take this in his stride.



The Moscow Flyer novice hurdle looks one to leave alone IMO, could go to just about any of them.

Can't see Harry winning (famous last words) but maybe placing.

Big Zeb FML. Don't usually have a go at the jockey but Geraghty went for home far too soon, he should have known from last time the horse was knackered going over the line, it needs kept as long as possible.



This weekend has been a giant case of one step forward followed by two directly back.

Gagewell Flyer just did it in the big novice race, although anybody who had a big bet on him would've been slightly nervous when they seen Mullins' second-string flying for the line.

I could cry after that from the Mullins horse at Punchestown. Terrible, awful day.



Mullins horse thwarted me in the first, won plenty back, and a Mullins horse thwarts me in the 320. Jesus Christ.



Lost stupid money this weekend.



Nightmare weekend I haven't had for many months, making me wonder if its even worth having a go.



Avoiding anything on all weather in future, that is where I have lost a majority of my money. So mad with myself.



The way things are going might as well have another one. Things can't get any worse, last three I've had have all been decent size losses, so might as well start next week's recovery mission straight away. Going to be back to normal next weekend, don't know why I've been so irrational and backing/laying on what I generally wouldn't bother with - the AW.





That didn't work either. After today, I hope Willie Mullins never trains another winner.

Wish I'd been backing his horses and not taking them on. What a crap day. After he won a couple I kept thinking to myself 'thats it from him for today now surely', but how wrong I was.

He may of messed up my 41/1 acca today but Mullins is my fav trainer that things he can do with a dud horse are unreal.

Should've paid a closer look.





That race was the one that nackered my day, the rest was much smaller pickings.

If I'd avoided the AW rubbish and taking on the Mullins horses I'd have had a rather prosperous day.



In future I'll be avoiding everything on the AW at Kempton and Wolverhampton except the absolute pinnacle of AW racing.



Strategy now is... one banker, the best bet of the day whether in a grade/group one or a novice race. And a lucky 15/other similar multiple in other races for some interest. If there is something I fancy to lay, then I will lay it.



Follow that and I should be ok!

Had a nibble on a couple tomorrow before betfair shuts down and causes mayhem for the bookies for a few hours
