I'm going to stick up for Southgate here...I think he is a little wooden at times and can be quite dull in his delivery but IMO he knows his stuff and is pretty bang on with his comments whenever i've seen/heard him...give me him over Lawrenson and his horrendous attempts at being droll any day of the week.

The summarizer is whining over the Hull penalty. It's as blatant a penalty as you'll ever see, but he's insisting that the contact was minimal and VH threw himself in the path of Campbell.

Dawson's challenge was a lot worse than Shawcross's. He just gets a yellow though, because there wasn't an injury involved.
