I think Liverpool have done ok y'know. Suarez & Carroll will get you more goals than Torres and Babel. Certainly on this years form.

£35m+ for Andy Carroll. Unbelievable.

This time last year, he wasn't worth £3.5m. Amazing how much he's come on and how much his value has increased. Once the dust settles, I think most Newcastle fans will be happy with the deal. Obviously at the moment it's a bit of a shock to the system but that is just a crazy amount of money.

Great deal for the club, no one will dispute that, its just a shame we haven't got a decent striker any more.

You have to love Harry R. He is like a car dealer at an auction. Just when you think it's all quiet he pops up with a cheeky offer for that 2 year old Mondeo you had your eye on.

IMO it would have been a step backwards for Adam in the sense that he would have been a squad player at Spurs. I think he wil end up at Utd in the summer as I think there is a unofficial deal in there somewhere.

Fair play to Balckpool, they stood firm and kept their man. However what will his attitude be like now and how would that affect the rest of the team? Only time will tell.

No doubt we will wake up to news that Harry R has signed Messi in a swop deal for Crouch.
