Apparently valuation good, but differences in personal terms, though now Arteta wants to accept what was given to him to force a move. He does want to leave.

I don't believe that for a second. Not that I don't follow him as he's keen with the transfer news, but he is just a kid and only passes on information.

We'll see on Stracqualursi but he was named as one of the top 5 Argentinian young players as recently as May and was the top scorer in the Argentinian league. He looks a very tidy finisher and if anything should adapt well to the Premier League as he's a big strong lad. He was heavily linked to several big European clubs over the summer with Napoli rumoured to have bid 8 million for him and Juventus rumoured to be following his progress.

It's a loan deal as well, so it's not like there is anything riding on it. He can't be worse than Anichebe.

Arteta is scum. I never liked him.

This new Argentinian is an exciting one as well. I just hope he's not been signed on youtube footage alone.

£10m apparently which isn't to bad for a 29 year old with an injury record like his over the last few years, rememeber Saha was a similar age when he moved to your place on a free.

Don't want to sound bitter, but since Arteta knackered his knee at Newcastle (March/April 2009??), you could probably count the amount of games he has had a lasting influence over, on the fingers of one hand......And this is a guy many Arsenal fans are presently wetting themselves about on Twitter and the like??

I honestly believe we have seen the best of the fellow, and it will be hell of an ask for him to take over the mantle of Fabregas/Nasri.

For Everton, its a healthy profit on a bloke approaching 30, takes a big earner off the wage bill, and, most importantly should finally give Jack Rodwell the huge kick up the backside he needs to prove he can actually hack Premier League football.

Just seen this. Since January 2005, Everton have averaged 61 points per season with Arteta playing, compared to 51 points without him. Lynchpin.

Harry claims Spurs turned down a bid of £40m from Chelsea for Modric. Are they mad? £40m is enough for any player who isn't in the top echelon in world football. Modric isn't worth that and is easily replaceable.

So, if we are to believe Harry and it's not just a lie to appease the Spurs fans, out of nothing but bitterness they've now got a player who will sulk his way to January and attempt to leave again. "My heads not right boss, I don't wanna play today".

Cameron Jerome to Stoke is a daft one. He is utter rubbish. 0 goals in his last 25 Premier League games. They are another club that just sign players for the sake of it.
