Some automobile clubs don't want anything to do with Mosley after his private whipping sessions.
Be fair - it's only the likes of the Americans, French, German, etc associations. The likes of Bukina Faso, Mongolia and Peru are still firmly behind him.

They're as hypocritical as the rag that ran the story – perhaps they'll check all their own members and officials for similar sexual fantasies and acts. And then, when they find that they aren't all just having heterosexual, monogamous, married vanilla sex, but are not breaking any law in the country in which they're carrying out these fantasies, and there is no public-interest argument for these acts and fantasies to be made public, they'll pipe down.
The German association, I'm afraid, is playing a predictable: 'oh god, someone mentioned the Nazis, therefore we'd better be against it or we'll be accused of, err, being Nazis' card.

Or maybe they're just looking at the bottom line. No matter what the rights and wrongs of the whole affair, if sponsors start pulling out then Mosley's a lame duck president.

Then the sponsors are hypocritical shîts too.
This story should never have been made public.
It is nobody else's business what consenting adults get up to in private. It is nobody else's business what other adults' sexual fantasies are and whether or not they act them out (assuming no laws are broken).
No laws were broken.
Mosley has not spent time in the public eye telling other people what to do in their private lives.
There is absolutely no way whatsoever that all the people involved in the various automobile clubs, the sponsors' companies etc are all monogamous, married, heterosexual and vanilla. Simple as.
It's a non-story. And all this flailing of hands just plays into the hands of shîtty rags such as the News of the Screw. If they are sued out of business when Mosley gets them to court, the world would be a better place.

The sponsors would pull out because they don't want to be "tainted" by the scandal. They only do this because they fear a drop in sales because they are "guilty" by association. So, I suppose we can add the public to the list of hypocrites as well. I think we've now managed to cover pretty much the whole world and we're still left with the same bottom line, Mosley is now a lame duck president. Money talks, and in this case there's no other solution than Mosley walks.
Is it a non-story? Obviously not. What is the story? In my opinion it's now moved on from the original stuff printed in the News of the World.

Indeed. Not least all the pathetic individuals who buy the kind of crud that the Screws publishes, so that they can be titilated and then justify their titilation by being censorious.

The thing is, he can't go. At least not yet. He has to wait for the court case.

Yes, it's still a non-story. What consenting adults do together is a non-story. I do know what you're meaning, but what has happened since the publication does not alter the fact of what has triggered this being a non-story.
I suspect that. after the court case, he'll go. But he'll go having been vindicated in terms of any judgement over privacy etc. The rags in question really do need a kicking. St Conroy says that, if it were ordinary people, they wouldn't publish – the trouble is, they do. That's what a lot of these gossip magazines are full of – so-called 'ordinary' people's stories.
To simply go now would be to give in to the rag in question and to the burgeoning culture of gossip and mind-dead cr@p this is reaching epidemic proportions in the UK.
Whatever the arsecovering idiots at assorted automobile associations think, the moral thing is to bloody well back him up.
One thing that has puzzled me throughout all of this is what is a Nazi style orgy? How does it differ from the more traditional orgy, as often featured in "art house documentaries"? Do you have to shave your intimate areas so that just a little moustache shaped area of hair remains?
These are important questions people, we deserve an answer!
