Actually, when your annual turnover is around 20 million pounds less than what you need simply to cover the interest payments every year, I'd say that it wouldn't take much at some point in the future to push clubs over the edge.

From the reports it seems that Liverpool are struggling to come up with cash to pay the latest round of interest payments. There is talk of new owners being brought in because the present owners don't have, or aren't willing to invest, the necessary funds the club needs.

The situation surrounding Liverpool seems to be a similar one that surrounded Chelsea when Abramovich bought the club.

Its not enough for Utd to be in debt, you now need a credit card to be able to get a Man Utd season ticket for next season. Having achieved biggest club debt status looks like we're now after the most supporters in debt title.

Just a quick question for the United fan's...

What's happened to Nani? I remember when you signed him he came over with quite the reputation, but I don't even recall him playing this year, let alone impressing.

Is he still held in the same high regard, or could he be on his way out?

Think he's played about 30 games this season, scoring 6 goals in the process.
I'm not convinced by the lad, but I don't think Ferguson will get rid of him.
He's only 22, but I think he needs to be more consistent and confident with the ball.
