Pardon my ignorance - who?

please keep up John...

I think he means Jonathan Tiernan-Locke a really good british cyclist who had his career cut short with a nasty viral disease a few years back - he's come back and has been racing in the second tier but looking for a deserved break in the big time - I reckon he could be taking over from Cav at SKY if the rumours are correct

can't think of another 'JTL'

oops, sorry FTMM, didn't spot the post

JTL is a decent bet for bigger things IMO - just unlucky that illness put him back a few years if not, we may heve seen him wearing the yellow jersey recently ?

Wouldn't surprise me to see Inverdale at the cycling today. He followed all the success yesterday when he was at the rowing in the morning and the athletics in the evening.

The guy gets involved in more celebrations that John Terry at the moment....

Been reading and hearing plenty about Tiernan-Locke this season, and his most likely destination probably is Sky. I'm looking forward to seeing what impact he makes on the World Tour scene.

I'm not sure if he will go sky to be honest. The way he's shaping he might want to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond. I'm sure that he will seen the froome v Brad issues. I think he will see himself as a GC at the tour can Sky afford to have both of them in the same GC team? Or will he even want to be stuck in that situation?

Also I knew the omnium was a bet to far!
I had a E/W accumulator on the mens team pursuit, mens sprint, mens keiren, mens omnium and mens team sprint. Unfortunately they only pay out to 2 places :(

1 place away from £100 :SHOOT:

It depends on his motives really. But I think he has a way to go yet before he's riding competitively in Grand Tours, so a few years riding with Sky and getting a shot at some of the shorter stage races in the meantime might be just the ticket. He's also expressed a desire to do well in the Classics, which were something of a disappointment for Sky this year.

Perk of the job, I get to see this before many.
Sky's team for the Vuelta announced. Froomedog, as expected, will lead it. Juan Antonio Flecha, Sergio Henao, Danny Pate, Richie Porte, Ian Stannard, Ben Swift, Rigoberto Urán and Xabier Zandio make up the rest of it. That looks strong to me.
