Merely avoiding relegation ISN'T good enough. Megson has spent millions compared with any other manager. They should now be comfortably in the top half. A win today against a Fulham side which hasn't won away all season and has only scored 3 goals shouldn't have been too much to ask and would have put Wanderers eighth.
