I've said all along that Rodwell could go as far as he wants to go in the game...he seems to have everything going for him in the modern game...maybe he will be the longer-term replacement for Lescott?? I think most Everton observers see him as a centre-half eventually...still at not much older than 18 years old he needs game time at the minute to build his experience and staying at Everton will give him that

What can I say, I probably don't have the same obsession with Utd as you do!

Either way I would be happy if we were to sign Rodwell although I very much doubt we will.

He could well have done.

I think Hull should be given some credit for trying to sign a good player from outside the Prem. It would have been an expensive risk but they were prepared to do it. Fair play, I say.
