It's not about changing a refs decision. It's about influencing the decision a ref's not sure about. And even more importantly, it's about influencing the refs future decisions.

But you are still ignoring the fact that there are plenty of chelsea players who do the same every match. Ballack and Cole are terrible referee baiters and there are plenty more.

Against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Frank Lampard was about a foot away from him right next to the touchline. Ronaldo blatantly dived, the ref gave the free kick, Lampard pi55ed himself laughing because he couldn't believe the ref had bought it.
