Just my opinion.
I don't think the BHA will let him get away with it. At a time when they're trying to attract new people to the sport and the whole racing for change etc....seeing a trainer pull off a coup like this with horses that have blatantly been run over wrong distances, on wrong ground in order to drop them to a mark to win from is pushing it a bit far IMO.
I've read on other forums people sticking up for him and saying it goes on and plenty of other trainers do it, but I've yet to see any other trainer attempt to pull of a coup as blatant as this with involvement of 4 horses like yesterday.
Agapanthus was beaten over 100 lengths in it's last race over hurdles....Savaronola was beaten over 65 lenghts 2 runs ago over hurdles, Sommersturm (may not matter as much cos it got beat, but only by 5 length yesterday) last two times on the aw over this trip was beaten 31 lengths and 29 lengths and then Jeu De Roseau although now trained by Chris Grant, Curley and his team obviously played a part in yesterday and when under the guidance of Curley (albeit a couple of years ago) the last time it ran in a hurdle race over 2 miles on good ground it was beaten 77 lengths.
Hardly the stuff of a genuine racehorse trainer to me.
