Gerrard on the left shouldn't be happening. We are crying out to have Gerrard play off Rooney but we somehow insist on playing one of the best CM/AMC's in the world out on the left.
Heskey is awful. Expectations of him are that low that when he wins a few headers he is playing well. Nevermind he gets caught offside with embarrassing frequency and can't finish for love nor money.
Rooney looked nowhere near fit. At a guess I'd say he isn't fully recovered from the injury that kept him out of training earlier in the week.
Capello is far too stubborn. Everybody could see it just wasn't working but he delayed and delayed making a change. Then he subbed Lennon for SWP when to me it looked like Barry was blowing out of his booty. Is it something to do with being England manager that makes managers lose it?
