Awful news on Saturday, I was away with the girlfriend for the weekend so didn't actually see the news until late Sunday night. Didn't expect to hear scenes of the collapses had been seen on C4.

Also seen about the horses in Ireland too, particularly saddening about Money Trix - he was a genuine horse for the Nicky Richards yard, he has lost Money Trix just shortly after another of his stable stars, Monet's Garden, has been fighting for his life. Apart from Noble Alan, I can't think of any other smart horses in his yard now.

Can't remember the last time so many horses lost their lives in one day, with the ones at Newbury not even jumping an obstacle.

Won well by the look of it.

Double on AC Milan and Man City for me. Milan are on fire this season and should give Spurs a more intimidating time at the San Siro than Rafa's Inter did.

Man City should be far too good for Aris, who do have a very good home record. City should have too much quality though, and after being out-done by a wondergoal on Saturday will be smarting to get a win.

Backed Man City, dont think they were even interested in winning. Were happy to grab a draw and finish the job off at home.

Annoying, that. Knowing they will be able to bully the smaller team off the park at home so settling for a draw. Bet their fans that traveled are a bit underwhelmed, as the ones that got spoken to on SSN pre-match all expected 2/3-0 victories.

Glad Milan got beat now, as I would've been annoyed had they won and a half-arsed City team had nackered my double.

Hardly ever bother backing football teams and tonight I reminded myself why. Only pocket change lost though, decided not to put the £20 I was originally planning.

Lytham in the 17:40 @ Kempton, Multiple course and distance winner this time last year where he won off a similar mark (50 + 6lb penalty), current form doesn't look spectacular, but he stands a chance.

Lets hope my tipping form on this thread is retained at 100%, fill yer boots at 10's!!
