I'd go with Stuart Pearce before Redknapp.....Might not be a proven manager, but he's been around the set-up, would be respected (I mean, who'd have the balls to argue with him?) and the press, similarly, wouldn't have the balls to make a fool of him too soon.
International management is completely different to club management.....Look how the likes of Maradona & Klinnsman have walked into it without any qualifications....At that level, its more about a figurehead, leader type and Pearce would certainly be that.
After that, I'd probably get Wilkins on the shortlist too, or at least involved in the set up.
