Good start for the Niners, getting a win over the NFC Champs and Superbowl runners-up. Don't expect us to do too much else this year though to be honest - a winning record would be a great season.

He ended up with 246 total yards and the match-winning TD...though 180 of his yards were from kick-off and punt returns - do they count in fantasy NFL or not??

If you have the Chargers D and special teams. Who are people liking after week one? I think the Vikings look dangerous mainly to do with AP, Favre will be allowed to manage games rather than the old gunslinging that he's used to. The Packers looked good but still only just edged a 4 int day from the bears. The Saints D looked better with the additions to their secondary,the Bengals looked gash and the Cardinals seemed out of sorts. The sleeper is the Seahawks, very balanced across the board.

That is our plan, we are going to start 0-3 and then we won't lose the rest of the season going 13-3 and then we will win the superbowl.

In standard formats like the one we use you'd only get the points from him if you had San Diego DST on your line-up. Some other formats you can get the points for him though.

Those types of games are the ones we lost last year (7 by 4 points or less IIRC). Our defence was exceptionally good, kept Forte in check, had Cutler looking clueless and running around thus the four picks (and we should have had more), some good blitz packages.

On offence we were terrible really. We only really got two drives going, one was the TD to Jennings, the other the Mason Crosby FG. Protection, particularly Babre was poor and led to the inconsistency.

I'm completely confident in our offence, it was sensational in the pre-season, and that it can get on track this week against Cincy. If we can get our offence going and our D keeps it up, we can beat anybody.

I still fancy us to win the division.

I was impressed with San Fran, they could be a force under Singleterry. Also Baltimore, obviously a great D and it seems they could be getting a great offence too.

Re Baltimore - if they could have got a stand-out WR then I think they could quite easily have had a chance of the SuperBowl...I think Joe Flacco goes very much under the radar in the QB stakes but from what I saw last season he looks very very good and with the usual D then they will have a chance to win most games.

Hopefully my Jets will continue with the improvement that we've clearly made defensively and surprise a few more of the well-fancied teams, starting with those horrible cheats the Patriots this weekend.

Urlacher is out for the season after dislocating his wrist

A big blow for the Bears and personally I think he may retire with an injury that serious although I hope not hes one of my favourite players!!

Surely Garcia will only be there until McNabb is ready, he was always going to get injured I have McNabb in my fantasy team
