Man up. Didn't Leigh used to play at Hilton Park  This LSV luxury is going to your head now. A wall to p*ss against is fine. :DRUNK:
I don't think it would have gone down to well if Hearts were another team to use the 'burst pipes' reason to not get a game on, especially of that magnitute, just because of some toilets.

Aye but Leigh didn't charge £26 to endure such poop (for want of a better term) or break health and safety regulations by having so few toilets for so many people.

18 team league. What do we all think then?

Personally think it's time for a bit of expansion and for a larger league which will hopefully lead to new fixtures, more exciting fixtures and a larger pool of players playing the top teams. One day i'd love to see an 18 team league with 17 Home and Away, though I accept that's to much for now.

I think 10 teams could ruin the league. All about the balance of money, revenue and TV rights etc, but I think the SFL in an already lowly position doesn't have much to lose by taking a chance on expansion and it's upsetting that the 10-team idea is the one they're pushing.

10 teams did not work, 12 is a joke, 14 is not enough. I would go for 18 myself but it won't happen.

However, the problem is that the SPL is and has been since 1888 a two team league. The amount of opposition they get won't change anything sadly.

10 team will be a joke and we all know it's done purely to guarantee more Infirm games.

I think 14 teams would be a good starting point and gradually work up to 18 teams - there isn't enough strength at the moment for such a big expansion, but it surely has to be the long-term goal with the likes of Dundee, Dunfermline, Partick, Ayr etc stepping up to the top flight.

However, I share your sentiments.

Persoally I reckon that Falkirk, Dunfermline, Raith, Ross Co, Partick, The Dees could easily make the step up. After all, none of them would offer less than the likes of Hamilton and St Mirren.

However, in an 18 team league Ayr up = 2 x Ayrshire Derbies. Dees up = 2 x Dundee derbies. Raith and Dunfermline - 2 x Fife derbies. Ross Co up = 2 x Highland derbies. Makes sense for clubs and more intriguing games for the punters to IMO.

Only chucked Ayr in there as I remember us playing them in a Scottish Cup semi years ago

All of the above makes sense but it doesn't include "infinite x Old Firm derbies" so won't even be considered.
