Wasn't in the rooma t the time, and I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm not even a Chelsea fan. The antics of that big jessie they have up front are often embarrasing. All I was saying is, at the time, Barca were the ones diving and cheating. That isn't a statement about their league, or their country. It was only a statement about them at that particular time.

Making a comment about it without having to add the boring caviat "of course it happens elsewhere and it isn't only them" should be a feature of this board. I'm not going to sit on the fence or be diplomatic. I'll call things as I see them, when I see them.

the difference so far has been that when ballack did it the ref actually booked puyol.
so that's both marquez and puyol out of the second leg.

second leg will be a whole different story. chelsea won't defend so much at stamford bridge (a point just made by eto'o) and barça won't be able to afford to.
fair play to hiddink, he's done it again. not many teams come to the nou camp and keep a clean sheet.
