how bad a jockey is that french lad on royal tune!!

His style is just like all the French NH jocks to be honest. The horse simply ran out of gas, had it cantered al lthe way to the line, everyone would be saying the jock rode a cracking race. Because it emptied out and found very little its all the jockeys fault.

Plus, P Moloneys ride had to be given some credit for the way he held the horse together after the mistake and still got it up on the line. Had Mccoy been on it, he would be 4/7 for Sports Personality Of The Year, on the front page of tomorrows Racing Post for ride of the year, and making a special guest appearance on Celebrity Juice. Moloney just got a "nice ride", time to move on from the C4 commentary team.

Funny old sport really.

Don't forget 'Vintage McCoy', 'The Champ does it again'.... etc etc.

Baby Run sees a nice end to the day for me personally.

Baby Run still seems like a stonking bet for the festival. Can anyone give me a good reason why it won't win?

Dare To Doubt E/W, Naas 3.35

The Mullins favourite should find conditions OK and will probably win if he is as good as his reputation says, but this one will relish the heavy ground and is going the right way over hurdles. Gagewell Flyer was nearly pipped by a lesser fancied stablemate and I think Dare To Doubt has a good E/W chance. Bottomless ground, novice hurdle, anything could happen.

Stablemate and morning favourite Day Of Lifetime now N/R so Dare To Doubt is now 10/3 - 5/1 from 8s. No real E/W value now.

It won in the end, hopefully some of you managed to back it. I had a pretty hectic afternoon and missed the racing completely.
