I think he should always be at the near post for free kicks and corners. If he's the one who meets the ball you know he's not going to slice it into the net.

The best strikers score goals no matter what they do. If they scuff the ball, the miss-hit shot will end up rolling over because the 'keeper is wrong-footed. If they're in the way when someone takes a shot, the ball will deflect of their backside into the net. Franco Di Santo is their complete opposite. He could do everything right and the ball would hit a divot just before he took the shot.

It's a shame, because he clearly has a lot of talent.

Utd today linked with Kjaer (£10m) to replace Vidic who is either Barca or Real bound. Benzema (£18m) and Rodwell (£30m).

Rodwell for £30m, but Kjaer for £10m? Just shows you how crazy the rumour mill is these days. If Simon was English, he'd be valued close to £50m.

What's the story there? I know he had a bad injury, but he barely features for Chelsea. Does Ancelotti not like him? It seems a shame, it's hit his England chances hard.
