As for Moyes and Everton's 'ambition'?....Well, as I said earlier in this thread, without some investment in the next few months, I expect Moyes to be gone by the beginning of next season.

Its quite obvious that finances aren't quite going as swimmingly as some would like to believe....You don't get rid of 3 senior players (Yakubu's to a Championship club being a particularly odd one) without there being some pressure from a bank somewhere.....Those moves all smelt of needing to tighten the belts somewhat.

As for the future?....Well, without investment, and none seems forthcoming, I'd expect at least 2 of our saleable assets to leave in the summer (Baines & Rodwell would be my favourites) and I'd expect that to be the trigger for Moyes to go and be replaced with Allardyce, who would be expected to do the tricks he used to do with Bolton, which was look bloomin' awful, but, somehow, finish comfortably away from relegation.

TV is hardly short of ex liverpool is it? Lawrenson, Hansen every MOTD, Souness, the articulate Jamie, Thompson for proper impartiality, Mcmananan on ESPN although he is relatively objective.

Souness, when he's on SKY, is porbably the best analyser on there.

Loving the anti-Neville tripe on here. Gary Neville has been by far the best right back in the premier league and it's not even close. The second for me is Gary Kelly who has been mentioned who was massively under rated. Lee Dixon is / was not fit to lace Gary Neville's boots - or Kelly's for that matter.

The reason that people don't like Neville is due to him being a WUM - that clouds their judgement. He's the professional football version of Enfield Exile and LGJM. They spout a lot of tripe to get a reaction, which takes away from the fact that a lot of the time they make very good points.

Missed that post mate, wasn't aware of a fallout.

The timing is interesting as the clubs accounts were signed off last week and will be sent to shareholders this week I believe.

We'll have to get the resident accountants to work disecting the figures when they are published. They are going to put them on the clubs website, I doubt they'd do that if they were particularly bad news.

The figures will probably be out of date. But the auditors report on whether the club is a going concern should tell you plenty.
