It has come to our attention that Manchester City Football Club are spending heavily in the transfer market, both in terms of transfer fees and wages offered and potentially exceeding their naturally generated income. The management team at Manchester City openly state that this is a deliberate policy to achieve their 'dream' of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.
Should Manchester City be successful in their unlimited spending in reaching their objective of qualification for the UEFA Champions League, we the undersigned as fans of other football clubs call upon UEFA and its President, Michel Platini, to examine the accounts of Manchester City Football Club and determine whether the transfer fees paid and wage structure followed is beyond their naturally generated income and if so to exclude Manchester City Football Club from UEFA competitions under the terms of the UEFA Licensing system for being a subsidised entity, distorting the transfer market and promoting irresponsible behaviour.
