I think out of Jagielka and Lescott, Lescott is the one City needed more. If you were to compare defences, Toure is very much like Jagielka, quick, agile and brilliant on the deck, but isn't the most dominant of defenders. Jagielka is much the same, hence why he and Lescott clicked so well, because Lescott was a big, strong aerially dominant defender, whilst he's not too shoddy on the deck, either.
Still think City could do with a full/wing back to play on the right, someone to offer a bit more width.
