It was entirely unnecessary for David Moyes to comment on an incident that did or didn't happen in the tunnel at an Everton game. What goes on at Everton games is none of his business. Who does he think he is?
Now commenting negatively on the transfer activity of a club you no longer have any kind of connection with, that's entirely necessary. If Rafa hadn't stood up and got his name in the press (again) in this entirely selfless way then Liverpool fans would never have known the truth. He's a hero and should be given the freedom of the city.
I see that you are attempting to use sarcasm to justify your response and i applaud your attempt, but I think you have missed the reasoning behind my post.
Has Moyes got proof of what Fabregas "allegedly" said? He hasn't. Did Lee Mason mention this so called incident in his match report? He didn't. Therefore, without proof why did Moyes say what he said? It was unnecessary and it also brought unnecessary media speculation onto Fabregas. If Mason said nothing in his match report, that would only confirm that nothing happened.
As for Rafa commenting on Liverpool, he's still liked by fans at the club and he's said that he would love to come back as manager one day. If he was saying things about Ferguson & Man Utd, Wenger & Arsenal, Mancini & Man City etc, those comments would be unnecessary because he has no affliction to those teams.
I'm sure you will attempt to respond in another sarcastic manner Andrew, but that doesn't concern me in the slightest. I'm here to debate about football, and that debate will continue whether people agree with my opinion or not.
Cheers.
