The conditions dont look that difficult to expect the aussies to lose another 7 wickets cheaply. Expect them to finish on something like 330-7.

There's still 69 overs left in the day. Take off 2 for the break between innings and it still leaves us plenty of time, if the weather holds up. If they score at 3 an over for 37 overs it would give us 170ish to chase in 30 overs. Difficult, sure, but not impossible.

Of course, all that depends on us actually getting them out, but let's stay positive for now.

Give it an hour after lunch.

If England don't take another wicket get Flintoff and Anderson out of the attack and wrap them in cotton wool for the Headingley game. No point running them into the ground chasing a lost cause.

All still up in the air for now, this partnership is now the key as after that we are into the tail.

So Headingley, keep the same side or bring in either Harmison or possibly Sidebottom?
