The sad thing about this game, compared to any given league game was the way Guscott creamed himself over a move started by Vainikolo. It broke down 10 seconds later because England are woeful but to find solace in a minor play just highlights how dire that game is. Such a move can be found every 30 seconds in a league match - it's called "passing the ball and running". No kicking - just passing and running.

Sad thing is - they lap it up. They'd watch any old sh*it if it meant having a day out and shouting for England. The sponsors will continue to shovel money at it. The BBC will carry on hyping it up. John Inverdale always manages to squeeze out some kind of highlight from a very crap game.

Pardon the pun, but it's on a par with Golf. It's like shi*t on a shoe - it gets everywhere. Thank fook the home internationals are a short affair.

NO I know, its Lesley's fault. Because he played RL, if only they had the far superioir RU born and inbread players, then they would have won by a canter.

Isn't it weird that now England can't win games just by kicking goals, Wilkinson's value to the team is starting to be questioned by the Yawnion press?

In the only change from an absolutely appalling team performance. More proof that Brian Ashton really is clueless. There needed to be half a dozen changes in both the backs and forwards, but it seems that like its cricket counterpart this England team is very difficult to get left out of.

All very coincidental that he breaks Neil Jenkins points record thanks to a dodgy rethink of the Lions v Argentina game then gets dropped the week after when in all truth he should never have been picked for any of the 6 nation games this season.

But thankfully he was picked and Wales have the triple crown and England need to beat Ireland on Saturday to avoid the Triple spoon.
