the video ref in Wales v Scotland gave a try when quite clearly Shane Williams foot had touched the white wash with a puff of smoke rising
Ok game was over, but a poor show for Union video refs

I saw that too, Loz. He was disgracefully hasty in awarding the try. I think he was scared of ruining what little running rugby there was on show.

They keep stopping it on the replays after the foot hit the line, but I've a feeling he also hit the flag before touching down.

How on earth could the ref give Ireland a penalty try today? fair enough France were slowing it down in the scrum but surely you show someone yellow card instead of awarding a penalty try from 5 yards out ?

Lucky lucky England, played well in the first half but Italy dominated the play the second half,if the game had gone on another 5 minutes then they would have lost yet again.

I'd had a drink yesterday, but I could swear I saw Dame Jonny displaying a bit of rugby skill, other than kicking a penalty or drop goal or conversion?
Had I had a bit more alcohol than I thought?
