I never rated baseball at all until I learned the rules. It's actually quite a tactical sport and can get quite exciting.

Simple question.

And out of the one billion viewers they claim is watching their annual adfest, how many zeroes do you have to remove before you get to the truth?

I think that's key with most sports.

Until you understand the rules and the strategy in baseball, you don't really get it. I've taken visitors to see the Jays who have never seen a ball game in their life. I made sure I explained the rules, objectives and strategies to them before hand and they all thoroughly enjoyed watching the game because they could actually follow what was going on.

That was clever. Have a gold star.

I think this thread has proven the answer is pretty much a resounding no, there isn't anything more boring.

The best answer so far has been, "erm, its not that bad if you fast forward, rewind, cut out, blah blah blah."

Maybe in Dalton World this thread has proved a resounding no, but in the real world, this thread has just had 2 pages about baseball, quite a number of people who really like it, a few who don't (basically because they don't understand the rules), a few people who have given alternate options and others who have questioned the point of this thread, me included.

So it's not a resounding "no", far from it. But if that's what you want to believe, then that's up to you.
